The Web Standards Project—an activist group that worked hard to make the Web standards-based—announced on Friday that its work was done and that its members were moving on to new projects. "Thanks to the hard work of countless WaSP members and supporters, Tim Berners-Lee’s vision of the web as an open, accessible, and universal community is largely the reality," the group said in its goodbye letter.
