This episode shows why computer geeks shouldn’t comment on automotive technologies. The gas-powered Toyota Prius is a game-changer, lumped in with Tesla, an automotive company? That’s like equating a Compaq DeskPro 286 with Apple, Inc.
You totally missed the fact that Tesla is a battery company, specializing in 4 models of cars (Roadster, S, X, and 3) that are software upgradable. This is nothing like Toyota’s Prius model, other than they both have batteries someplace in the chassis. Toyota’s just happens to be behind the gas engine that powers them.
