My story with WIFI-Assist.  I updated OTA to IOS 9.1 Something went wrong, so I plugged it into my computer and restored to iOS 9.1 .  Since my most recent backup was in the cloud, I started to restore from my iCloud backup.  I was on my home Comcast WiFi, so I left my phone plugged in about 6 inched from the router, and I went out to eat with my wife.  The WIFI apparently crashed or something because that night, after emails and texts from AT&T I looked and I had burned 9 GB of cellular data in 6 hours.  Since I only have 6 GB on my plan, that restore cost me $45.  So I have turned off WIFI-Assist.  It is clearly broken.  I only want $45 of the $5 million to pay back for the data overage.
