What Apple car project?  Bwuhha ha. As the price of oil sinks to 50¢ a barrel this is not the best time to get into gimmicks like electric autonomous cars as the stats show big dumb ICE SUVs sales increased last quarter and historically ALL big dumb SUVs and P/Us sales spike when petrol fuel is cheap. But I suppose it’s a catch-22 because the oil prices might be partially linked to alternative fuel choices. What we need is like what “they” are doing to get ciggie smokers to quit; pay a huge tax penalty like $5 per gallon to “convince” the ignorant human that you don’t want to burn stuff and release carbon and CO2 into out fragile bubble.

True what you say about low oil prices and their effects on ICE vehicle sales but how long can we expect oil to stay that low? I don’t think we can bank on it being that low forever.
