Apple Announces 140,000 Apps on iPhone App Store

Apple announced today the the App Store now has more than 140,000 apps available. The company made the announcement during the "some updates" phase of Steve Jobs's media event keynote, according to Endgadget. Mr. Jobs did not update the number of apps that had been downloaded, repeating the three billion figure announced by the company earlier this year.
