Apple Honors 11 in Apple Design Awards 2012

Apple named eleven developers in the 2012 Apple Design Awards on Monday. The company picked a variety of games, puzzles, music, and educational apps for this year’s awards, and one iPad book. The awards were broken down into four categories including iPhone Developer Showcase, iPad Developer Showcase, Mac Developer Showcase, and Student Showcase.

Submissions for the Apple Design Awards were opened in April, and for the first time all submissions were limited to one of Apple’s App Stores. Winners received a MacBook air, an iPad, and an iPod touch, in addition to the award itself, and the right to market their win.
