Apple Store offlineApple’s Web-based store went offline Tuesday morning ahead of the company’s “Let’s talk iPhone” media event and was replaced with the familiar “We’ll be back soon” message. Apple’s media event is set to start at 10AM pacific time and will be hosted at the company’s Cupertino headquarters.

Apple is expected to unveil the next generation iPhone, show off more iOS 5 features, and talk about iCloud, too. iCloud is the company’s replacement service for the soon to be retired MobileMe.
