John Chaffee is the founder of BusyMac, the company that brought us BusyCal and, recently, Busy Contacts for the Mac. In this interview, John describes how his early work with Now Up-to-Date launched a life-long interest in calendaring. But then, there were the customary career choices including some time developing Palm OS apps. Eventually, in 2007, John and former associate Dave Riggle reunited and founded the two-person company, BusyMac. John talks about the impact of the Mac App Store on his business and the future of Mac apps. Will there ever be a BusyMail? I just had to pop the question.
