What will this be? There’s probably a group of folks in Cupertino who know, but speculation has already begun that it will be an announcement for The Beatles catalogue, a subscription music service, and a long expected move to the cloud with your iTunes library. Or all three. Or maybe something else.

What’s curious, however, is that Apple hasn’t invited media to a media event, meaning that the announcement will take place through iTunes or Apple’s Web site. For a day that we’ll never forget, one could be forgiven for thinking there would be a Stevenote to go along with the announcement.
In the meanwhile, let the speculation begin.
