Apple Arcade added five new games today, and the lineup includes Subway Surfers, the most downloaded mobile game in the world. The popular endless runner first launched in 2012 and has collected billions of downloads over the years. With this update, Apple gives players a premium version called Subway Surfers+, which keeps the classic run but removes ads and in-app purchases.
This premium edition changes how you revive your character, collect items, and move forward in the game. These tweaks make the experience smoother, especially for players who want progress without constant interruptions. A related title, Subway Surfers Tag, arrived on the service back in 2022, so this release builds on that earlier addition.
Along with this major return, Apple Arcade also rolled out four more titles across different genres. Each one expands the library with fresh gameplay styles and familiar characters, creating a strong mix for both casual and long-session players.
