Apple has launched a new Sales Coach app for iPhone and iPad, replacing its long-running SEED app that supported Apple Store and Apple Authorized Service Provider employees. The update focuses on sales training, product knowledge, and technical guidance, giving staff a central place to prepare for customer conversations and stay current on Apple’s latest devices and programs. Instead of launching a separate app, Apple updated SEED directly, so existing users now see Sales Coach after installing the latest version.
Apple pushed an update that transformed SEED into Sales Coach rather than removing it from the App Store and starting fresh. The report confirms that the new platform keeps the same foundation but adds design changes and new features aimed at improving how employees access information during sales interactions.
Changes With Sales Coach
Apple describes the app as follows:
“Apple Sales Coach delivers sales and technical resources to Apple sales partners around the world.
Apple Sales Coach has the resources you need to be ready for a variety of customer conversations. Stay up to date with product announcements, program updates, sales tips, and more.”
The app now uses Apple’s Liquid Glass design language, aligning it with recent software updates. It also introduces an AI-powered chatbot under a new “Ask” tab. Employees can use it to find answers about product features, software tools, and device capabilities based on official Apple materials.
Although the app appears publicly on the App Store, Apple restricts access. The company states that it is available only to Apple personnel and approved sales partners, and new users must enter a partner code to complete registration. Apple also provides web access through its Sales Coach website.
