What you get with this generation

On the connectivity side, Apple says iPad Air now includes N1 (Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, Thread), and cellular models include C1X for faster cellular performance and improved efficiency.

Accessories: Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard

Apple says iPad Air supports Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C). Apple Pencil Pro adds features like squeeze and barrel roll, and it supports Find My.

  • Apple Pencil Pro: $129 (or $119 with education savings)
  • Apple Pencil (USB-C): $79 (or $69 with education savings)

Magic Keyboard for iPad Air includes a built-in trackpad and a 14-key function row. It attaches magnetically and uses the Smart Connector for power and data, so it does not rely on Bluetooth for that connection.
