Apple does not publicly list RAM specifications for iPhones, but developer tools continue to reveal these details after launch. The newly announced iPhone 17e follows the same pattern, and early information now confirms the memory configuration inside the device. This matters because RAM determines how smoothly apps run, how well multitasking works, and whether the phone supports Apple’s latest software features.
The iPhone 17e includes 8GB of RAM, which matches the standard iPhone 17. Apple uses this memory level across the lineup to support Apple Intelligence features, which require at least 8GB of RAM to function properly on iPhones.
According to information confirmed through Apple’s developer tool Xcode, the iPhone 17e carries the same 8GB RAM configuration expected from earlier leaks and reports.
Apple equips both the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e with the new A19 chip, which handles performance, graphics, and AI tasks. However, the two models differ slightly in graphics capability. The iPhone 17e uses a 4 core GPU, while the standard iPhone 17 includes a 5 core GPU.
Apple opened pre orders for the iPhone 17e already, and the device will officially launch on Wednesday, March 11.
