Changes in tvOS 26.4 beta 4

So far, Apple has not pointed to any big new consumer-facing features in beta 4 itself, which suggests this release is focused more on bug fixes, performance work, and overall stability as testing moves forward. Apple’s official release listings confirm the new build, while the release notes for the tvOS 26.4 beta cycle highlight at least one known issue involving apps that might crash when downloading asset packs.

That said, the broader tvOS 26.4 update has already shown a few notable changes during the beta cycle. Reports around the earlier betas say Apple has been testing a new Continuous Audio Connection feature that aims to reduce Apple TV audio handshake problems, especially with some sound systems, and the old iTunes Movies and iTunes TV Shows apps have also been removed from tvOS 26.4.

For now, beta 4 looks like another cleanup release as Apple gets closer to the final version. If more visible changes appear in this build, they will likely come from developer testing over the next few days.
