Appleās latest macOS Tahoe 26.4 beta brings the colorful wallpapers first introduced with the new MacBook Neo to every Mac. You do not need Appleās new $599 laptop to use them, because the update places the wallpapers directly inside the system settings so users can apply them on any supported Mac.
The four wallpapers follow the same style Apple used to promote the MacBook Neo. Each design uses bubble-shaped lines and bright gradients that spell out the word āMac.ā The Company includes four color options called Mac Purple, Mac Blue, Mac Pink, and Mac Yellow.
Apple added these wallpapers to the fourth developer beta of macOS Tahoe 26.4. Apple often shares marketing wallpapers across its Mac lineup, so wallpapers created for devices like MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and iMac usually become available to all Macs through software updates.
How to find the new wallpapers
Open System Settings, select Wallpaper, then scroll to the Pictures section where the four new Mac wallpapers appear.
Apple also added several new emoji in the update, including trombone, treasure chest, distorted face, hairy creature, fight cloud, orca, and landslide. macOS Tahoe 26.4 remains in beta and Apple plans a wider release later this spring.
