Apple is preparing for WWDC 2026 and the iOS 27 reveal by expanding how it reaches developers across global platforms, with a clear focus on stronger engagement and wider access to updates, videos, and event coverage ahead of June.
Apple has launched official Apple Developer accounts on bilibili and LinkedIn, where it plans to share news and announcements tied to the WWDC event and its developer ecosystem.
Developer presence ahead of WWDC
Apple has moved early this year, building momentum before WWDC 2026, where it will introduce iOS 27 along with other software updates, and this expansion shows a clear push to connect with developers in more regions, especially in China.
Bilibili, a video platform similar to YouTube, already hosts dozens of developer-focused videos from Apple, and the account gained over 17,000 followers within hours, which shows strong early interest.
At the same time, LinkedIn gives Apple a space to reach professionals directly, while continuing its broader push across platforms like YouTube and Instagram.
Apple also launched a “@HelloApple” Instagram account to share stories.
