Apple Discontinues $700 Mac Pro Wheels Kit Alongside Mac Pro

Apple has discontinued its $700 Mac Pro Wheels Kit alongside Mac Pro, removing accessories and redirecting listings from its store pages.

Apple has discontinued the $700 Mac Pro Wheels Kit alongside the Mac Pro itself, closing the chapter on one of its most talked-about accessories. The wheels kit first launched in 2020 and gave users a way to add mobility to the Mac Pro after purchase, especially for studio setups where moving heavy hardware matters.

Apple offered the Mac Pro with pre-installed wheels for $400, which replaced the standard $300 feet, making the standalone $700 kit a premium upgrade. The kit included a 1/4-inch to 4mm hex bit and a detailed installation guide, allowing users to switch from feet to wheels without professional help.

At the same time, Apple has also discontinued the $300 Mac Pro Feet Kit. This option helped users swap back from wheels to standard feet if needed.

Apple has removed both accessories from its website, and old product pages now redirect to the main Apple Store. Users looking for alternatives can still find third-party options like OWC’s Rover Pro wheels at a lower price.
