Iran Names Apple Among “Legitimate Targets” in New Warning

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has reportedly warned that Apple is among several major US companies it now considers potential targets as tensions rise with the United States and Israel, with the warning focusing on firms linked to technology, artificial intelligence, and communications.

CBS News reports that the IRGC shared a Telegram post naming 18 companies, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, Meta, Nvidia, Tesla, Boeing, IBM, and Cisco, while also urging employees in the Middle East to leave offices immediately and advising nearby residents to evacuate.

“Since the main element in designing and tracking terror targets are American information and communications technology and AI companies, in response to this terrorist operation, from now on the main institutions effective in terrorist operations will be our legitimate targets,” the IRGC said.

The statement frames these firms as “legitimate targets” and accuses them of acting as “spies,” while the group also set a timeline for possible action if further escalation continues.
