Apple TV Thriller Adds Daryl McCormack to Dakota Fanning, Stellan Skarsgård Cast

Apple TV Movies and Shows Score Seven Wins at Critics Choice Awards

Apple TV continues to build momentum for its upcoming untitled thriller series, adding more star power to an already strong cast that includes Dakota Fanning and Stellan Skarsgård, while the project remains without an official title but is shaping up as a major international drama.

Deadline reports that Daryl McCormack has joined the series in a key role, expanding the cast alongside Fanning and Skarsgård as Apple moves forward with production on the high-profile project.

Cast and story details

The series follows an undercover Treasury agent, played by Dakota Fanning, who infiltrates a powerful international conglomerate with deep political and criminal influence, and as the mission unfolds, she finds herself conflicted when she begins to believe that her target may not be as corrupt as expected.

McCormack plays Kar, the reluctant heir to the conglomerate, while Skarsgård takes on the role of Brandt, the powerful figure at the top of the organization, which sets up a tense dynamic between power, loyalty, and personal belief.

Apple secured distribution rights earlier this year, with Sony Pictures Television producing the series, while Alex Cary leads the project as creator and showrunner, joined by executive producers including Julie Gardner, Dakota and Elle Fanning, and director Kari Skogland.

The project is still untitled, but with its cast and creative team now in place, Apple TV appears to be positioning it as a major addition to its growing thriller lineup.
