Apple has updated its Liquid Glass Design Gallery to show how third-party apps are adopting its new design language across iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26, and the latest update focuses on real app interfaces that now use Liquid Glass for a more fluid and responsive look. The gallery compares older iOS 18 layouts with updated iOS 26 designs, which helps users and developers clearly see how visual elements have changed.
Apple says developers are actively using Liquid Glass in key interface areas like tab bars, navigation buttons, and bottom toolbars, while features such as pop-out menus and separate search buttons continue to appear more often across apps. Popular apps like AllTrails, Carrot Weather, Fantastical, Kroger, SketchPro, Trello, and Le Monde appear in the updated gallery, showing how different categories adopt the same visual system.
Apple highlights developer adoption
Apple shared a detailed note alongside the update:
“In the latest edition of our new design gallery, find out how teams of all sizes are taking advantage of the new design and Liquid Glass to create natural, responsive experiences across Apple platforms.”
The company continues to refine Liquid Glass with small adjustments like Lock Screen controls, and current reports suggest Apple will keep this design direction in future updates, with possible system-wide controls for adjusting the visual intensity.
