iOS 27 Supported iPhones: Here’s the Latest Leak

Apple is expected to unveil iOS 27 at WWDC 2026 on June 8, and a new report suggests the update will continue supporting the iPhone 12 series and newer models while ending support for several older iPhones. The update is also expected to introduce a redesigned Siri experience powered by Apple Intelligence, although some features will remain limited to newer devices.

According to Instant Digital, a leaker on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, iOS 27 will work with the iPhone 12 lineup and later models. If the information proves accurate, Apple will drop support for the following devices:

  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone SE (2nd generation)

Users with these models should still receive iOS 26 security updates for the next few years, which means Apple is not ending software support entirely.

The report also claims that Apple’s new Siri app and advanced Apple Intelligence features will require an iPhone 15 Pro or newer. This means many of the headline AI features expected in iOS 27 will not be available on older supported devices.

The rumored compatibility list includes:

  • iPhone 17 series
  • iPhone Air
  • iPhone 16 series
  • iPhone 15 series
  • iPhone 14 series
  • iPhone 13 series
  • iPhone 12 series
  • iPhone SE (3rd generation)

Apple is expected to release the first developer beta shortly after the WWDC keynote, followed by a public beta in July and a full release in September. Reports suggest iOS 27 will focus heavily on bug fixes and stability improvements while still introducing new AI-powered features across Apple’s apps.
