macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 Coming Soon, Release Expected This Week

macOS Tahoe Solves the Clipboard Problem Mac Users Have Had for Years

Apple is preparing a macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 update, and the build is expected to arrive soon as a small software release for Mac users.

MacRumors found a reference to macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 in the second macOS Golden Gate beta, where Apple included an upgrade path from the upcoming version. This suggests Apple expects some Macs to run macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 before moving to the next major beta cycle.

The update should arrive alongside iOS 26.5.2, which is already believed to be in testing through visitor log activity. Both updates are expected to focus on bug fixes, performance improvements, and security patches rather than major new features.

Apple is also testing macOS Tahoe 26.6 and iOS 26.6, with two betas already released. Since those updates are moving forward, Apple will likely release macOS Tahoe 26.5.2 and iOS 26.5.2 soon, possibly this week.
