Apple Raises Vision Pro Price to $3,699 After Wider Product Price Increase

Apple has raised the price of the Vision Pro to $3,699, making its most expensive consumer product even harder to justify for buyers who were already concerned about its launch price.

The headset originally launched in February 2024 at $3,499 for the base 256GB model, while the new pricing now puts the 512GB model at $3,899 and the 1TB model at $4,199.

Vision Pro Gets More Expensive

The price change arrived after Apple briefly took its online store offline and returned with higher prices across several products, including MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, Mac Studio, and Vision Pro.

Key Vision Pro prices now include:

  • 256GB Vision Pro: $3,699
  • 512GB Vision Pro: $3,899
  • 1TB Vision Pro: $4,199

The increase stands out because Vision Pro already had a major price problem compared with Meta Quest 3, which starts at $499.99.

Apple refreshed Vision Pro with the M5 chip and Dual Knit Band in October 2025, but it kept the original $3,499 starting price at that time.

The latest increase appears tied to rising memory and storage chip costs, which Apple CEO Tim Cook recently described as unavoidable for the company’s product lineup.
