Apple has started rolling out the upgraded Siri AI experience on Apple Watch with the watchOS 27 beta 3 release. The update also adds a standalone Siri app, which now appears inside the new Dynamic App Grid when users press the Digital Crown.
Apple announced Siri AI for Apple Watch during WWDC in June, but the feature did not appear in the first two developer beta builds. With watchOS 27 beta 3, developers can finally test the smarter Siri experience directly from their wrist.
Siri AI Arrives on Apple Watch
The new Siri app sits at the center of the Dynamic App Grid, while the surrounding apps change based on what the system thinks users need. This makes Siri easier to access, especially for quick questions, reminders, messages, and other hands-free tasks.
Siri AI on Apple Watch depends on a nearby Apple Intelligence-compatible iPhone for processing. This means the watch can offer smarter replies and handle more advanced requests while using the iPhone to manage the heavier AI work.
The Siri app also syncs conversations across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple Watch. As a result, users can continue Siri conversations with context across their Apple devices.
Some Apple Watch users may need to wait for the new Siri experience to fully load after installing the beta. Once active, watchOS 27 beta 3 brings Apple’s upgraded Siri closer to a ChatGPT-style assistant on the wrist.
