Apple has released visionOS 26.6 for all Apple Vision Pro models. The update focuses on security fixes, bug fixes, and improvements that help the headset run more reliably.
visionOS 26.6 carries build number 23O770, which matches the Release Candidate issued before the public launch. Apple Vision Pro users can download the update through the Settings app.

How to Update
- Open the Settings app on your Apple Vision Pro.
- Select General.
- Choose Software Update.
- Wait for visionOS 26.6 to appear.
- Select Download and Install.
- Remove the headset and leave it connected to power while the update completes.
Make sure your Apple Vision Pro has enough battery power and remains connected to Wi-Fi during the installation.

Apple has not announced any major new user-facing features for visionOS 26.6. The update mainly includes the following improvements:
- Important security fixes: visionOS 26.6 addresses vulnerabilities affecting the kernel, WebKit, App Store, Contacts, CoreAudio, ImageIO, SceneKit, and other system components.

The update is available for every Apple Vision Pro model and was released on July 27, 2026. Once visionOS 26.6 is installed, users cannot return to the previous software version.
