This fresh partnership allows curated short form videos created by fans on TikTok to stream directly on the Disney+ application. It gives everyday content creators a clear path to showcase work inside one of the biggest entertainment platforms today.
Fan videos will feature famous characters on both platforms
Creators who decide to opt into this new program will see video content appear on TikTok as well as a section called Verts on Disney+. The content will feature familiar characters and stories from major brands including Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and FX. To help make these clips, TikTok creators will receive access to official assets from hundreds of films and television series sitting within the massive Disney library.
