Apple has extended its 2026 Back to School promotion in the United States, giving eligible students, parents, and educators nearly another month to buy select Macs and iPads with education pricing and an Apple Gift Card worth up to $150.
The promotion originally ran from July 16 through August 27, but Apple has now moved the closing date to September 24, 2026. Customers who place an eligible order during the promotion period will still qualify even when Apple ships the product after September 24.

The education discount also applies, reducing the upfront price of eligible devices for qualified buyers.
Apple explains that the promotion covers several groups across education:
“Those eligible for this promotion include faculty, staff, students, and parents” who meet Apple’s requirements, including employees of K-12 institutions, eligible higher education students and staff, and parents purchasing for an eligible higher education student.
Customers can claim the offer through physical Apple Store locations, the Apple Store for Education, or by ordering through 1-800-MY-APPLE, provided the purchase and delivery take place within the United States.
The promotion has also received an extension in Canada, Mexico, and several Asian markets, although Apple offers different promotional products depending on the country. In the US, the maximum benefit remains the $150 Apple Gift Card included with an eligible MacBook Pro purchase.
Apple excludes the MacBook Neo, iPad mini, entry-level iPad, desktop Macs, and iPhones from the 2026 Back to School promotion, while eligible customers need UNiDAYS verification to complete a qualifying education purchase.
With the new September 24 deadline, students and educators now have several extra weeks to use Apple’s education pricing and claim the promotional gift card before the 2026 offer ends.
