Apple is preparing a wider range of color options for the Modular Apple Watch face in watchOS 27, giving users more ways to match the face with their watch band, outfit, or preferred setup when the update arrives this fall.
The Modular face remains one of the most useful options on Apple Watch because it combines several complication slots with a layout that keeps important information visible throughout the day, and the new colors will expand its existing customization options without changing the basic design.

Nine new Modular colors are coming in watchOS 27
Aaron Perris found references to nine new Modular watch face colors inside iOS 27 beta 5, although the current beta does not include visual previews showing how each option will look on Apple Watch.
The new colors listed in the beta code are Cool Slate Blue-Gray, Dusty Rose, Flat Sage Green, Muted Navy Blue, Pale Mint Green, Soft Periwinkle Blue, Soft Pink, Warm Cream, and Warm Taupe.
Several of these shades also line up with the type of seasonal colors Apple often introduces alongside new Apple Watch bands, so they could match accessories released with Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 later this year.
Mark Gurman has also reported that Apple is working on another Modular watch face for watchOS 27, with a design inspired by Modular Ultra, which suggests Apple plans to give the Modular family more attention in this year’s software update.
Apple has not shown the new Modular colors publicly yet, but the references inside beta 5 suggest users will get several fresh options when watchOS 27 launches in fall 2026.
