Apple’s rumored iPhone 20 Pro design is back in focus after a new supply chain leak claimed that its display has already appeared in testing, adding fresh support to reports that Apple still plans a major iPhone redesign for 2027.
Reports earlier this week disagreed over whether Apple had delayed or cancelled the project because of technical challenges, but the latest leak suggests development is still moving forward and that Apple is working on a display designed to make the bezels look almost invisible.

iPhone 20 Pro display reportedly spotted in Apple’s supply chain
Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station says the display uses a four-curved surface with optical refraction and specially shaped glass to create what looks like a nearly borderless screen around the front of the device.
The description closely matches earlier reports that Apple wants to use light-guiding structures and optical effects to make the display appear as if it continues around the edges, while still keeping the screen comfortable to view from normal angles.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also reported this week that Apple has not abandoned the 2027 redesign, despite a separate claim from a Jefferies analyst that the company had put the project on hold.
Apple has been linked to a near all-glass iPhone design for years, and former design chief Jony Ive regularly spoke about pushing the iPhone toward a single slab of glass.
The final name remains unclear, with reports mentioning iPhone 19 Pro, iPhone 20 Pro, and even a separate anniversary-style name, but the latest supply chain claim adds more weight to expectations of a major visual change in 2027.
