Apple is reportedly making progress on a new all-glass design for the iPhone 20 Pro models, which are expected to arrive next year as part of the iPhone’s 20th anniversary lineup. The new design is said to focus on larger displays, more rounded glass, improved heat management, and a thinner body without sacrificing the performance and battery life Pro users expect.
Next year’s Pro models are rumored to feature quad-curved displays that extend around the edges of the device, giving the phones a nearly bezel-free appearance. Apple is also expected to use design ideas from the iPhone Air and the upcoming foldable iPhone Ultra while keeping the overall form factor practical for a flagship Pro model.

The latest development work has reportedly improved both heat dissipation and thinness, two areas that become more difficult to manage as Apple reduces the size of the chassis and increases the amount of glass around the phone.
Apple has not settled publicly on the final thickness or material combination, but current rumors suggest the iPhone 20 Pro will not chase extreme thinness. Instead, Apple appears focused on combining a more distinctive glass-heavy design with the battery life, sustained performance, and thermal control expected from its Pro lineup.
