Apple Arcade added two games on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and has confirmed three more for Thursday, October 1, 2026. Together with the exclusive and the crossover update Apple is also adding October 1, that is seven titles across two confirmed dates, all inside the same $6.99 monthly subscription.

This is the part of Arcade’s autumn calendar that has drawn the least attention, since it is neither a new exclusive nor a crossover update, just Apple’s ordinary monthly rhythm of adding titles to the catalog. Apple has announced each of the five games named below; it has not reviewed, rated or benchmarked any of them, and neither does this piece.

What already landed on September 3

Apple’s August newsroom post named two additions: Block Blast!+ and Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+, both dated September 3, 2026. Apple’s post did not name a developer for either title, so none is given here. Both have already been available inside the Arcade catalog for more than a week as of this writing.

What arrives on October 1

Apple’s September 8 newsroom post named five titles for October 1, 2026. Two of them, an exclusive called Pusheen’s Place and a crossover update to Terraria+, are substantial enough that Apple gave each its own description; the other three are named alongside them with a developer credit and a short line of Apple’s own description.

The developers behind these three

Arc System Works, credited for River City Survivors, is named only as the developer in Apple’s release, with no further studio detail given. Illusion Labs, behind Touchgrind BMX 2+, gets the same brief credit. Lotum, which made 4 Pics 1 Word+, is the only one of the three whose game Apple frames by a specific number, the 400 million players Apple attributes to the original release rather than to the Arcade version specifically. Apple’s release does not say whether that figure includes the Arcade edition or only prior versions of the game. None of the three developer credits comes with a founding date, a headquarters location or a portfolio of other titles, so readers who want that context will not find it in Apple’s own announcement.

How this fits Arcade’s release pattern

Two confirmed dates, four weeks apart, both landing on a Thursday, is the clearest evidence in Apple’s own publishing of a recurring monthly cadence for Arcade additions, rather than a one-off event tied to Apple’s September 9 keynote. Neither the September 3 nor the October 1 batch was mentioned at that keynote, and Apple’s own iOS 27 release page, arriving Monday, September 14, 2026, does not reference Arcade’s schedule either. The two calendars run on their own tracks.

All of it arrives inside the same subscription Apple prices at $6.99 a month in the US, available on devices such as the iPhone 18 Pro and its A20 Pro chip, with no separate charge named for any of the five titles.

What Apple has not said

  • Who developed Block Blast!+ or Art of Fauna: Cozy Puzzles+.
  • Whether Apple plans a November addition on the same monthly pattern.
  • Whether the 400 million player figure for 4 Pics 1 Word+ includes anyone who has played it on Arcade specifically.

Today is Saturday, September 12, 2026. The next date to watch on Apple’s own Arcade calendar is Thursday, October 1, 2026, when all five October titles are due to appear in the app.
