Interesting use of Apple Pay at ATMs.  My bank, BMO Harris already allows me to use an app on my phone to get cash at their ATMs.

You sign into the app on your phone and on the ATM screen you tap the “Mobile Cash” button, which then shows a QR code on the screen.  Aim your phone at the screen and then on the phone you enter the amount of the withdrawal.

You then get your cash and a receipt.  Your debit/credit card stays in your wallet.
