The Q Card Case from CM4 for the iPhone 4/4S is made from rubber and faux leather. It holds the iPhone securely in place and also provides a pocket on the back side that will hold up to three items (credit cards, drivers license, cash, I.D. card, etc.) Though the cards are held tightly in place, the case has a thumb hole that makes removing the cards quick and easy. The manufacturer recommends that users fit no more than three cards in the card slot, but point out that it will hold one just as securely as it will hold three.
Also included with the package is a cleaning cloth and a screen protector. The case is available in four colors: Black Onyx, Pearl White, Pacific Green and Pink Sapphire. There is a one year warranty against defects. The MSRP is US$39.99.
There is a raised screen guard on the front that allows you to safely place the phone face down on any surface.
Using the product
It is very easy to insert and remove the phone from this case — always a biggie with me. The cutout for the camera and flash is more than adequate and the case is well put together. The thumb slot that’a included as part of the card case is ingenious. Every other phone/card case that I have seen will hold cards tightly, but it is the devil to remove them. The thumb slot makes it much easier.
Even with cards or cash included, the case is slim and fits easily into a pocket. There is something about the composition of the case that makes it easy to remove as well.
Do I recommend it?
I do. If you like to travel light this might be the solution to your problems, and at US$39.99 the price is quite reasonable.
