Can our older mobile devices use the faster speeds with these new new AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule?  Has Apple specified which iOS devices can use 802.11ac with this upgrade?

New MacBook Air is the first Apple product to support 802.11ac.

The new airport utility for Imac has a software glitch.

My time capsule was no longer visible in airport utility and I suspect that is why my apple tv was malfunctioning.

In order to fix it we had to reinstall version 5.6 since the current version is causing airport utility to malfunction in its interface with time capsule.

This was determined after a few hours and two tiers of technical advisors at apple card.
