Apple Begins Emailing iPad Reservation Reminders

· by · iPad

Apple began emailing friendly reminders on Wednesday to customers confirming their iPad reservations for April 3. Customers that reserved iPads instead of pre-ordering them will be able to pick theirs up in-store between 9AM and 3PM local time this Saturday.

The confirmation email states “When you come in to pick up your iPad, you’ll be directed to a line for those with reservations. We’ll have Specialists ready to help you set up your iPad, free workshops, and more. We look forward to seeing you at the store.”

The confirmation also lists which Apple Store location the reservation was made for, includes a link to a map with directions to the store, lists which iPad was reserved, and includes a link to edit your reservation.

Apple’s iPad will go on sale at 9AM this Saturday morning at U.S. Apple Store locations along with many Best Buy locations. The multimedia tablet device is priced starting at US$499.

I just got my email reminder. When I click “edit your reservation” however and put in my details… it says I have no reservations?! I wonder if I should be concerned?
