There is no “Siri & Spotlight” in my Settings—only a “Spotlight.”
There is no “Search Indexing” there so there is no “Rebuild Index” to click on.

so every day I have to scroll to “Search Privacy” and add all my disks to be excluded. Then I go back and take them out. THEN Spotlight works … until the next day. I always shut down at night to save energy.
