Apple Books Rolls Out Its 2025 Year in Review With Reading Highlights

Apple started its year-end recap season this week with Apple Music Replay, and now Apple Books has joined in. You can now check your 2025 Year in Review directly in the Apple Books app. The feature sits inside the Home tab, right where you usually start your reading sessions. It gives you a clean snapshot of your habits, and it helps you see what shaped your reading year.

You get clear summaries of your top genres, favorite authors, total books finished, and how often you read each month. Because Apple Books lays out your activity in simple charts, you understand your reading streaks at a glance. The experience mirrors Apple Music Replay and builds on Apple Books’ own recap tradition from recent years.

Apple also updated the Home tab with its official picks for the best books and audiobooks of 2025. These selections come from Apple’s editorial team, and they highlight a mix of fiction, nonfiction, and major releases from well-known authors. The lists pair well with the recap, since you see how your own reading compares with larger trends.
