Apple Confirms Another Round of High-Level Executive Departures

Apple continues to expand its footprint in the South Bay with another major real estate purchase. This time, the company spent $216 million to buy two office buildings in Cupertino, adding to a growing list of recent acquisitions.

Apple’s South Bay buying spree continues

Over the past several months, Apple has steadily increased its real estate holdings across Santa Clara County. Since June, the company has spent more than $1 billion on office campuses and standalone buildings in Cupertino and Sunnyvale.

Now, the latest deal pushes that total even higher.

Details of the Stevens Creek purchase

According to public filings, Apple bought two office buildings located at 19319 and 19339 Stevens Creek Boulevard. Together, the properties offer about 266,500 sq ft of office space. Apple paid for both buildings entirely in cash.

Notably, Apple already occupied both buildings and had leased them for several years before completing the purchase.

What Apple says about the expansion

When asked about the deal, Apple emphasized its long-term commitment to the region.

ā€œThe Santa Clara Valley has been our home for nearly 50 years, and we’re proud to continue investing in world-class facilities here,ā€ said Kristina Raspe, Apple’s vice president of Global Real Estate and Facilities.

She added that these spaces support collaboration among employees and help serve customers worldwide.
