According to an Apple TV press release, the platform says Shrinking will return with a “one hour season premiere episode” and continue with weekly releases. The statement also describes the show as a “beloved comedy” and confirms that season three will stream exclusively on Apple TV starting January 28.
The cast is stronger in season 3
The core cast returns, including Segel, Ford, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. The new season also brings back several guest stars while adding fresh faces. Apple says season three includes appearances from Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox, alongside returning guests like Brett Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Cobie Smulders.
Shrinking comes from Bill Lawrence, who also co-created Ted Lasso and Bad Monkey. While Ted Lasso remains Apple TV’s biggest breakout, Shrinking has quietly built a loyal audience. Season three looks ready to build on that momentum.
