Apple TV will soon add its next movie to the lineup, and it centers on Eternity, a romantic comedy starring Elizabeth Olsen. While January focuses on new TV shows, this film marks Apple TV’s next major movie release and is expected to arrive in February.
Eternity debuted in theaters in late November, around Thanksgiving. At the time, the release carried little public sign of Apple’s involvement. That detail stayed out of sight until recently, when the film appeared in a preview highlighting upcoming Apple TV premieres. The platform has only confirmed a release window of “Winter 2026,” but signs point to a mid-February debut, close to Valentine’s Day.

Apple TV+ surfaced the film in its recent preview of upcoming releases, quietly confirming its place on the service. That appearance marked the first clear link between Apple and the movie after its theatrical run.
What Eternity is About
The film comes from A24 and earned strong reviews from critics and audiences. Much of the praise focused on the central trio of Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner.
The story unfolds in an afterlife where souls have one week to choose where to spend eternity. Joan, played by Olsen, must choose between her husband, portrayed by Teller, and her first love, played by Turner, who “has waited decades for her to arrive.”
The trailer is now available, ahead of its Apple TV streaming debut.
