iOS 26.3 Public Beta 3 Is Here With These Changes

Apple Releases iOS 26.3 Beta 2 to Developers

Apple has released iOS 26.3 public beta 3 for testers, one day after shipping iOS 26.3 developer beta 3. The new public beta uses the same build number: 23D5114d.

This update stays in “polish and small tweaks” territory rather than adding big new features. If you are already on the public beta track, you will see it in Software Update like a normal over-the-air release.

Apple has not announced an exact public release date for iOS 26.3. Based on the current beta pace, a February rollout still looks plausible, with iOS 26.4 betas expected to follow after that.

How to install iOS 26.3 Public Beta 3

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap Software Update
  4. Tap Beta Updates
  5. Select iOS 26 Public Beta
  6. Go back, then tap Download and Install

If you do not see “Beta Updates,” make sure your Apple Account is enrolled in Apple’s public beta program.

What’s changed in iOS 26.3 Public Beta 3

Limit Precise Location toggle for cellular networks

iOS 26.3 beta 3 introduces a new privacy setting that reduces how precisely cellular networks can infer your location. Right now, availability is limited by hardware and carrier support, so you may not see it on every iPhone.

Share Sheet wording and layout tweak

Apple also made a small usability change to the Share Sheet. The “More” button now reads View More with an arrow, and it switches to View Less after you expand the list.

AirTag (2nd generation) support in the 26.3 cycle

This beta line also includes support for Apple’s new second-generation AirTag features across the broader 26.3 update set, including Precision Finding on Apple Watch.

What’s next

Looking ahead, iOS 26.4 beta testing is expected to start next, and recent reporting ties that release to a more ambitious Siri upgrade that could involve Google’s Gemini models. Apple has not confirmed any Siri timing yet, so treat this as early-stage reporting until betas land.

If you install iOS 26.3 public beta 3, share what you are seeing so far in the comments, especially battery life, app stability, and whether the new privacy toggle shows up on your device.
