Apple Seeds iOS 26.3 Beta 3 Ahead of February Release

iOS 26.3 Beta 1: All the New Features and Changes So Far

Apple has released iOS 26.3 beta 3 for iPhone. This update continues to refine the next version of iOS with a focus on switching from Android, small wallpaper changes, and system level improvements. It also builds on the work Apple started with iOS 26.2 and iOS 26.2.1, which added more control over Liquid Glass design elements and expanded CarPlay options. Together, these updates show how Apple is shaping the next phase of iOS before its public release in early February.

Apple first released iOS 26.3 beta 1 in mid-December and followed it with beta 2 earlier this month. Beta 3 now moves the software closer to a final release by fixing bugs and polishing features that already exist in this version.

What is new in iOS 26.3

Apple has not shared a full public changelog for beta 3 yet. Still, the main features introduced with iOS 26.3 remain the same across all betas.

Here are the headline additions so far:

  • Transfer to Android
A built-in tool that lets you move data from an iPhone to an Android phone. It supports photos, messages, notes, apps, passwords, and more.
  • Notification Forwarding in the EU
A new setting designed for third party wearables in the European Union so they can receive and display iPhone notifications.
  • Wallpaper tweaks
Small changes to the Weather and Astronomy wallpaper gallery to improve how these dynamic backgrounds look and behave.

Apple also continues to improve stability and performance in the background, even if those changes do not always appear in a feature list.

What comes after iOS 26.3

Apple plans to release iOS 26.3 to the public in early February. After that, attention will shift to iOS 26.4, which is expected to include the long-awaited upgraded version of Siri. Apple and Google have already announced that Gemini will power this new version of Siri and Apple Intelligence, which should bring major changes to how the assistant works.

For now, iOS 26.3 beta 3 gives developers and testers another look at what Apple plans to ship next. If you notice any new changes or fixes in this beta, you can share them in the comments and help track how this update evolves.
