Apple Releases iOS 26.3 With 37 Security Fixes and Critical Patch

Apple has released a new round of software updates that focus heavily on security. The latest versions bring limited new features, but they deliver a long list of security features across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro. In total, iOS 26.3 alone addresses around 37 security issues, making this one of the most security-focused releases in recent months.

Alongside iOS 26.3, Apple also rolled out iOS 18.7.5, macOS Tahoe 26.3, macOS Sequoia 15.7.4, macOS Sonoma 14.8.4, tvOS 26.3, watchOS 26.3, and visionOS 26.3. Key Security Issue Highlighted

Apple confirmed that a flaw in dyld, the dynamic linker used by the system, may have been exploited in targeted attacks. The company stated:

“Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 26.”

The vulnerability allowed an attacker with memory write capability to execute arbitrary code. That level of access can compromise system integrity and user data, which explains the urgency behind the fix.
