Apple Sports App Gets Three New Upgrades For MLB And NASCAR Fans

Apple Expands Sports App to 80 Countries With Major Soccer and NCAA Update

Apple just pushed out a fresh update for its dedicated Sports app on the iPhone. If you use the app to track your favorite teams and leagues, you will notice a few handy tweaks in the latest version. This recent release brings three specific improvements aimed at making the app slightly more useful for baseball fans, racing fans, and anyone who prefers to hide betting numbers.

The new update has arrived soon after Apple added real-time NCAA March Madness tracking to the app.

Better tracking for games and a cleaner display

For baseball followers, the app now shows the probable starting pitcher for every MLB game before the first pitch. This saves you from having to dig through other websites just to see who is taking the mound.

NASCAR fans also get a helpful visual update. The app now displays car numbers right on the leaderboards, which makes it much easier to identify your favorite drivers while a race is happening.

Finally, Apple added a simple way to turn off sports betting odds directly inside the app. In older versions, you had to leave the app and dig through your main iPhone settings to hide those numbers. Now, you can easily switch them off right from the app menu for a cleaner look.
