WhatsApp Adds Multi-Account Support and AI Features for iPhone Users

WhatsApp has introduced several new updates aimed at improving daily use on its messaging platform. The most notable change is support for multiple accounts on a single iPhone, a feature users have long requested.

iPhone users can now log in to two WhatsApp accounts on the same device. This feature has existed on Android for years, and it now brings similar flexibility to iOS users. The app shows the profile photo in the bottom tab, which helps users confirm which account they are using while sending messages.

WhatsApp also improved chat transfer options. Users can now move their chat history more easily between devices, including transfers between iOS and Android. This makes switching phones smoother, as users can keep their conversations without complex steps.

The platform has also added better storage controls. Users can now delete large files directly from chats through the Manage Storage section. This option allows users to remove only media files, helping free up space without deleting entire conversations.

AI tools for editing and writing

WhatsApp has introduced new AI-based features powered by Meta AI. These tools allow users to edit photos by removing backgrounds, changing styles, or deleting objects from images.

Meta said, “The above features should be arriving to all WhatsApp users soon.”

The app also includes a Writing Help feature that assists users in drafting messages. Meta states that this feature maintains chat privacy while offering suggestions.

These updates aim to make WhatsApp more flexible, organized, and useful for everyday communication.
