Apple has released macOS 26.5 public beta 1 for testers, just weeks after macOS 26.4 rolled out. The update is now available through the Apple Beta Software Program and focuses on early refinements, bug fixes, and under-the-hood improvements as testing begins.
This is an early beta build, so changes remain limited for now. Apple usually adds more visible features in later beta updates as development continues.
