Listen to Your Custom AI Audio With Spotify’s New Personal Podcasts

Spotify May Let You Edit Your 'Taste Profile' With Written Notes

If you use AI tools to help organize your day, you can now listen to the results in the same place you play your favorite songs. Spotify just launched a new feature that lets you build and save custom audio tracks straight to your library. It calls these tracks Personal Podcasts.

The tool takes the text prompts you give your AI agent and turns them into private audio briefs you can listen to anywhere.

Set up the desktop tool to send custom audio briefs

Right now, the new feature works with popular AI coding agents on your computer. You can use it alongside OpenAI Codex, OpenClaw, and Anthropic’s Claude Code. To get started, you just need to download the Save to Spotify command-line tool from GitHub. This small download connects the text generation tools directly to the streaming platform.

Once you install the tool on your desktop, you link it to your account through your web browser. Then, you can ask your agent to generate a custom podcast and send it right over to your library.

It’s worth noting that the streaming platform recently also partnered with Claude for music and podcasts. The firm also added guided workout classes for free and premium users to expand its daily content options.

Create daily news and study guides for your routine

You can create almost any type of audio you need for the day. For example, you can tell your agent to read off your morning calendar, check the local weather, and suggest a short music mix for your drive to work. You can also turn long class notes into a quick study guide before an exam, or ask for a deep dive into a new subject like history.

The feature is in a worldwide beta testing phase right now. It is available to eligible free and premium subscribers. Because the tool is still new, you might run into some usage limits while the company tests out its system.

Essentially, this update makes it much easier to digest the helpful information you already ask AI to find for you.
