Apple has launched its 2026 Back to School promotion in the United States and Canada, giving eligible students and education staff a gift card with selected Mac and iPad purchases. The offer also works alongside Apple’s standard education pricing, which lowers the cost of many devices by around 5% to 10%.
Apple Back to School 2026 Gift Card Offers
Customers who buy a new MacBook Pro through the Apple Education Store can receive a $150 Apple gift card. Apple also offers a $100 gift card with the purchase of a MacBook Air, iPad Pro, or iPad Air.

The MacBook Neo does not qualify for the promotion, while Apple has also excluded desktop Macs, the iPad mini, the entry-level iPad, iPhones, Apple Watches, and accessories.
Apple allows customers to use the gift card for products, accessories, App Store purchases, Apple Music, iCloud+ storage, and other Apple services. The $100 gift card with the $699 iPad Air gives buyers one of the strongest values in the current promotion.
Eligibility and End Date
The Apple Back to School 2026 deal runs through August 27, 2026, in the United States. Eligible buyers include current and newly accepted college students, parents purchasing for eligible students, university staff, and employees of K-12 institutions.
Apple now requires UNiDAYS verification for education purchases in the United States and Canada. Customers can access the offer through Apple’s online Education Store or participating Apple Store locations.
