What happens in Lucky Episode 5?
Spoilers ahead for Lucky Episode 4.
Lucky Episode 4 ended with Cary dying after a violent car chase involving the FBI and Priscilla’s men. Lucky escaped the crashed vehicle alone after saying goodbye to him, leaving her without the person who understood both her emotional and criminal history.
Episode 5 begins with Lucky on the run again. The official synopsis says that she makes a “lucrative discovery,” while Agent Billie Rand develops a new plan to capture her.
The discovery will probably involve money connected to Cary’s hidden plan. Cary had taken millions from the robbery and intended to escape instead of handing the cash to Priscilla. He may have left part of the money, an account number or another valuable asset that Lucky can access after his death.
However, the discovery could also expose further secrets about Cary, John Armstrong or Priscilla’s criminal operation. Lucky needs money to disappear, but information that can damage her enemies may prove even more useful.
Agent Rand could offer Lucky another deal
Agent Rand’s plan will place additional pressure on Lucky. Earlier flashbacks showed that Lucky had previously worked with Rand to help bring down Priscilla. Episode 5 could see the agent use Cary’s death and Lucky’s isolation to force her into cooperating again.
Lucky may have to choose between taking the newly discovered fortune and using it as evidence against Priscilla. The episode title, “Are We Bad People?”, also suggests that Lucky will examine the choices that brought her to this point.
