The technology company Apple has updated its official list of supported Made for iPhone hearing devices. The recent update brings 43 new models from 22 different brands into the ecosystem. This addition pushes the total number of supported products to over 600. Users who rely on these tools can now pair even more options directly with their devices to stream audio and talk hands-free.

The update brings hands free calling to many new models

The Made for iPhone program lets people connect their hearing aids directly to their phones and tablets. Depending on the specific model, the audio connection travels one way or both ways. Two way streaming lets users talk on a phone call without holding the phone, because the hearing aid itself picks up their voice. Most of the newly added models support this two way connection.

The company added compatibility for its latest portable computer

Along with the new hearing aid models, the tech giant updated the system requirements for computer users. The brand new MacBook Neo is now officially listed as a supported device for both one-way and two-way audio streaming. To use this feature, the laptop must be running the upcoming macOS Tahoe 26 software update.

This expanded support means more people can connect their daily health tools to their main work computers. By adding these 43 devices, the company continues to make its hardware easier to use for people who need hearing assistance.
